27 Bath and Body's 3rd Graduation Celebration (September 13, 2016)
The girls were finishing wrapping soap, and putting the last touches on the bars to help fill an order before it was being shipped out. I had asked the Khmer teacher in the soap class to bring the artisans to another classroom.
The first girl arrived to the other classroom and as she walked in and saw the surprise celebration she laughed and went to grab the other girls. We welcomed the girls in the room with their favorite Khmer song, titled Bon Phum, and had an impromptu dance party.
After the dance party I handed each girl their certificate of graduation, and their favorite product. Their Khmer teachers and I shared some words with each of them.
The cake read, Congratulations Srey Sa'arts (Beautiful Girls), and as each of the artisans put their hand on the knife to cut the cake I felt my heart swell with joy. We ate their celebratory cake, drank soda, and danced some more.
The girls left for dinner, and just like that another amazing group of girls has graduated from the soap program! At the completion of this program we have added 4 girls to the soap makers hall of fame, which brings the number in the soap makers hall of fame to 20 girls! That is 20 unique, and beautiful personalities. Twenty different laughs, smiles, and beautiful souls. I am thankful to each of these amazing girls, who are going on to accomplish bigger and better things!

P.s. Sorry there are no pictures! We got some awesome shots, but unfortunately somewhere between flying from Cambodia to America, my memory card was lost.
